My Testimony: Why I Write About God
I never thought of myself as a writer. In fact, for most of my life, I struggled deeply with school. Reading and writing were things I dreaded, and failure felt like my constant companion. Art, however, became my escape—drawing was my outlet when I felt incapable of excelling academically. Athletics also gave me something to hold onto, but I always carried the quiet ache of never being “good enough,” especially with words.
Yet God had different plans. “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” (1 Corinthians 1:27). I see myself in that verse: someone unqualified, incapable, and overlooked—yet chosen.
In one of the loneliest seasons of my life, when I felt friendless and unseen, I was introduced to poetry. For me, poetry felt like drawing with words. It became a way to take the storm of emotions inside me and give them a place outside of my troubled mind. Reading gave me a place to escape reality, and writing gave me a way to hold onto it. Still, in those early days, my words were only echoes of my own grief—raw, self-focused, and without real purpose.
But then I met Jesus.
Everything changed. Suddenly, my writing wasn’t just about me anymore—it became about Him. My pain found a purpose. My words were no longer just an outlet; they became a testimony. What I once wrote out of loneliness and sorrow became words that carried hope, life, and encouragement to others. It was no longer about my voice alone, but about His Spirit working through me.
God reminded me through Jeremiah 1:4-10 that He calls and equips those He chooses, even when they feel utterly inadequate. That was the verse He gave me when He first called me to start a blog. And though it has taken me three years to step out in obedience, today I begin—trusting His timing, not mine.
When I read Scripture and write about what God reveals, I experience something beyond myself. In those moments, I meet Him in His Word. I taste the reality of heaven touching earth. Just as Peter, James, and John witnessed Jesus transfigured before them in Matthew 17:1-8, I too have experienced God’s glory changing me from the inside out. In the reading, in the writing, and in the sharing, I see Him more clearly. And as I see Him, I am transformed.
This blog is not about me being a “writer”—it is about Jesus being the Author of my life. It is about how He took someone who once hated reading and writing, and made me into someone who now cannot stop writing about His goodness. It is about how His blood and our story come together to testify of His redeeming power.
I write because I have been transfigured by His presence. I write because His Word has given me life. And I write because I believe that what God has done in me, He can do in you too.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
— Matthew 5:8
Purity doesn’t mean perfection — it means undivided devotion, a heart that truly seeks God over anything else.
Connect with Jesus in new and profound ways, for He is willing and He is eager to be close with you.
This is a space dedicated to exploring the deeper things of God. I want to move beyond surface-level faith and connect with the profound truths of Scripture, the mysteries of God’s heart, and the life-changing call of relationship.
This blog exists to stir our need for Jesus. Through devotional reflections, poems, and meditations on God’s character.
I believe that God delights in revealing His heart to those who seek Him earnestly. All posts are written to encourage you to press in, ask hard questions, wrestle honestly, and ultimately draw closer to the One who knows you completely and loves you still.
Above all, I desire this blog to be a place where God’s presence is felt — a quiet corner of the internet where you can relate, pause, breathe, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak.

Matthew 17:1-8
The Transfiguration
And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light. And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified. But Jesus came and touched them, saying, “Rise, and have no fear.” And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
